Background

Education Project is three year initiative being implemented by Marvi Rural Development Organization in Partnership with Sindh Education Foundation to provide primary education in rural areas where no other facility is available in vicinity of 1.5 kilometers. MRDO focused on bringing the light of education for the growth and development of those living in remote and disadvantaged areas of the Sindh province in Pakistan.

MRDO will provide all basic, essential academic and recreational facilities in all proposed schools on equal basis in and will ensure these facilities at ground. The MRDO will ensure enough space for class rooms whereas all class rooms will be decorated as per class syllabus and general knowledge. Meanwhile, all class rooms will be ventilated and as per class room criteria defined by the government. All proposed schools will accommodate to more than 3000 students with all required facilities.

Five class rooms, one staff room, two bathrooms, one administration room and one hall will be in a school. Besides these facilities, one covered area would be allocated for assembly. Meanwhile, secured play area will be established in each proposed school. On the other hand, administration office will be supported with all required information technology equipments including computer, printer, scanner, internet and multimedia where required. All teachers will be appointed with additional IT degree/knowledge including diploma or short courses. The MRDO will use alternative energy sources (solar energy) for backup of electricity.

Following facilities will be provided in each proposed school;

  • Laborites with full equipments (Science & Computer) (where required)
  • Co-curriculum facilities
  • Health and safety
  • Medical (first aid)
  • Library
  • Interactive whiteboards
  • Well-equipped class rooms with educational charts
  • Enhanced facilities supporting a fully inclusive curriculum within every class
  • Provide co-curriculum activities such as debates, sports, events celebrating, theater performance and quiz computation etc.
